Julie Compton
Co-owner

Julie and her husband currently live in Indiana where she owns and operates her own hair salon. Julie has earned her degree in Business from Purdue University in 1988 and has no plans on slowing down.

She is currently involved in educating the youth of the beauty industry by teaching at beauty schools in the area. Coupled with her license in Cosmetology, Julie owns countless certifications in advanced studies in the cosmetology world. In addition to ownership of her own salon, Julie also shares partnership of a salon in Las Vegas and many other businesses in the restaurant, hotel and real estate industry. Julie has no doubt that her new pride & joy, BoDY MedSpa, will follow the same footsteps as her previous successes. Julie strongly believes that the MedSpa Industry is the way of the future and is eager to create the perfect experience for every customer.
Dr. Mary White-Opperman
Co-owner

Dr. White-Opperman is a Podiatric Physician & Surgeon and has been involved in the Podiatry field for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and her Master of Science in Genetics.

Mary has owned and operated her own private practice with her husband, Jon Opperman, for over 20 years and has built many successful franchises in Illinois. She is also an active partner in Real Estate property; commercial and residential.

Although Mary’s list of achievements keeps growing, Mary stays true to her heart and selflessly volunteers her time to her four children’s after-school program and also remains active in her local Church Group in Rockford.
Dr. Kopolovic
Medical Director

Dr. Kopolovic has been practicing plastic surgery in the western suburbs of Chicago and Northern Illinois for over 15 years. He received his medical doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1981. He then completed his surgical training at the University of Illinois in 1988. His training continued at Loyola University in Plastic Surgery from 1988 to 1991.

Dr. Kopolovic has dedicated his time for research during his training and has authored publications in peer-review journals and has also received National Research Awards during his residencies.

His private practice consists mostly of Cosmetic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery associated with skin cancer. He is also currently involved part-time, with a residency teaching program.
Suzanne Yun, R.N./A.R.N.P.
 Nurse Practitioner

Suzanne brings over 30 years of experience with a large area of expertise in botox, dermal fillers, mesotherapy, sclerotherapy, facial aesthetic, chemical peel and microdermabrasion. Suzanne also works as an instructor of Professional Medical Aesthetic Training Workshops teaching body sculpting.

As a Peri-Operative Nurse, Suzanne has worked extensively in all specialities of surgery with a great focus on cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. A few professional highlights in Suzanne’s career includes Best Business Woman of the Year by Sam’s & Wal-Mart Organization in 1995 and she also spoke on emerging issues in the dynamic field of Anti-Aging therapy and Accupress Facial Massage at the National Meeting.

Suzanne’s passions are art, music and exploring the world.

Colleen Schlanger
Medical Aesthetician

Colleen Schlanger is a 2004 graduate of Pivot Point International Academy for Aesthetics. She first found her love of skin care as a recent high school graduate while working at a day spa. Colleen has worked in the MedSpa industry in the Hinsdale area for 3 1⁄2 years. Her focus of interest has been in acne problems and their treatments.

Colleen’s skin care motto is, “Love your skin and it will love you!”

 

 

Trisa Lee
 Director of Spa Operations

Trisa comes to BoDY with salon and spa experience dating back to 2000.She has successfully managed everything from the opening of a resort spa to supervising over 300 employees for the famed Mario Tricoci salons. Her experience managing a Chicago Medspa led her desire to learn more about what she calls, “the perfect marriage of the medical and spa worlds”. As Director of Spa Operations, she will oversee our community involvement, community-business alliances, events, and in-spa development.

The staff at BoDY is inspired by Trisa’s enthusiasm for restoring health and youth to
our clients.

 
 

Heidi Guillot
 Front Desk Coordinator

Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Heidi made her way to the Windy City last August, 2006 when her husband was promoted and moved to the area. Immediately after the move, Heidi began her career in the MedSpa Industry as a Front Office Coordinator and fell in love with the science of maintaining a youthful glow.

Prior to exploring the MedSpa Industry, Heidi’s work experience has ranged from working on Capitol Hill to owning and managing two construction-based businesses for over 20 years. For the past 21 years of her life, Heidi has volunteered her time to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
